Great News on Good Friday!

Ever had one of those days when you think to yourself, “Wow. If you would have told me a year ago that this is what I would be doing, I’d think you done fell off your rocker.”

Yup, that pretty much describes today…and this entire week for that matter.

I have a BIG announcement. I will be a guest speaker at Geek Girl Con 2012 in Seattle, WA on August 11 & 12. I will be sitting in on the “Art in Business” panel. I am SUPER excited about this! As in, if you have new carpet, you probably don’t want me around it right now.

The exact date and time of the panel has yet to be set, but I will be sure to let everyone know the details as it gets closer to August.

It has been an AMAZING year for GnomeAcres! I want to take a moment and thank all of the people that have supported my business, and by extension, small businesses and handmade everywhere.

I can’t tell you all how humbling it is to get feedback about how much you love my yarn, fiber and knit goods. Or, that you couldn’t even take off your coat when you got home because you just had to open your fiber order immediately. I do a little happy dance every single time I hear a story like this.

Again, big THANKS to all of you for making this such a great year for me and my family. This is the best job I’ve ever had…and it’s all because of YOU!
